There's not much rock in the Hoosier State, but we managed to find some bouldering near my parents' place in Indianapolis. Here's my Pops groping the greasy river rock of Muscatatuck Park in the Midwest summer heat.

This problem is called the Racist. I believe?...It is only a V1 but good for warmup.

This is me on the same problem at Strawberry fields. It is a cool roof problem where you have to throw and grab a good hold above your head. It is best use a sit start.

Nothing like a nice long traverse at the beginning of a bouldering session.

There is always a little pain involved when you climb to your limit.

Climbing around Christmas last year

Bouldering somewhere in Strawberry Fields at Muscatatuck Park in Indiana. Yes, Indiana.

Same problem at Strawberry Fields.

As picture displays. the particular wall directions. However if you plan on going towards Tangerine wall don't do it on a day after a rain. Like hell trying to get through a low section. Reminded me of a slip and slide with a crash pad on your back... SLIP FLIP AND LAND ON YOUR PAD on your back!LOL

The Short End off the wall and Strawberry fields direction beyond the trees.

This is taken right after a early morning rain 6/14/09. The wall was super wet and slimy. Made the grades on some climbs a level harder>>> LOL
