This is a shot looking into the Bridge area two winters ago when there was plenty of ice. Inspiring!

This is the easy route that tops out at the down stream side of the lower bridge. This is the day after the 05 Ice Fest, my first exposure to climbing ice. Thanks to Redpoint Ron for talking me into coming out.

A warm day in Ouray. Having never been down there, I was blown away by the amount and quality of ice. What a riot.

The Ouray Ice Park is gorgeous. You can't climb here and not be smiling.

This is my first ice climb. The route was mixed rock and ice and was totally fun.

Here we are parked at the top of the boat ramp. It is hard to get 16 people in one place at one time. Back row -- Skibby, Sharpie, mr8615, kasharp, reno, & ell. Front row -- redpointron & mother_sheep.

Got the chance to compete in the mixed open comp. Great experience that i hope to repeat next year. How often do you get to lead M8 with the draws hung and a belay that is second to none? Many thanks to Monica Schalla for taking this photo.

Poodle Sex is a cool line with a really classy name. Had to climb it, only found out the name later on. Very positive mixed section with good cams and nuts.

I took this from the bridge on the last day of our stay. I am pretty sure he is actually to climbers left of Tangled, but unsure of route name. It was a great climb.
