I took this shot during my first day visiting the desert. The landscape made it very difficult to judge the enormity of the mountains.

Vegastradguy and I figured we'd get on something we could fall off of at the end of a chill day clip'n bolts at Panty Wall. Totally Clips 11a (um, only climb on wall with out a panty reference) feels like Waimea but less positive.

Here we have and unidentified leader working his way up the crux of P2 of Frogland, where I was just 2-3hrs earlier.

From the top of Whiskey Peak I could see several parties on routes on Black Velvet Wall. I hope the people on top of the tower on Epinephrine at 2pm made it up sans epic.

Found Hobbit Hole on my first, soggy, trip to Pawtuckaway. If the rock had only not felt like a soapy dish sponge...

Mike looks on as Corey finishes up the first pitch of Tropicana at Orange Crush. Note: no more dull blue shirts allowed on climbing trips.

I believe James was workin' out on Tin-Monkeys when I took this shot. Please someone correct me if I have the wrong route.

Gabe and Tim have this thing wired now... red points to ensue on the next trip I'm sure.

As a first trad lead route this was great. A mini roof or two made it just a little exciting. Don't bother with the second pitch - if you could even find it. Photo courtesy of orangekyak (Jeremy).

The belly roll move on belly roll was not elegant enough for Chris. So he did it the hard way! Photo courtesy of orangekyak.

We didn't get to see the belly roll move from Chris, but Amanda sandwiched herself in there like a champ. Photo courtesy of orangekyak.

Willy hits the heal hook on the roof problem at Monument Cove in Acadia. Mind the tide pool below. Photo by acherry.

Daryl went up for the chicken head right after this shot and woulda stayed on if he hadn't hit the pointy part. Photo by acherry.

Its the end of the day and I'm burned - both from sun and from futile attempts at Thank You Scott. Mike and I seemed to think the easier way for the vertically challenged is to lay-back off the smaller crimpy stuff- my arms were too short for the crossed over jam. Photo by dbyte.
