Cool ridge off of Dome's true summit. The catwalk summit ridge is somewhat hairy, but this thing looks scary...

Dome snow ramp

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Dome snow ramp

Final trudge up the snow to the rock ridge of Dome. The place is beautiful. Dome was bittersweet, it marked the lsat summit for our Ptarmigan trip. We climbed five peaks along the way, and gained in admiration for the original Ptarmigans.

W. Helena Blues Festival

Average Rating = 0.00/5 W. Helena Blues Festival

A lot more to AR than sweet sandstone and politicians and rednecks. Rock and Roll came from the Blues, and the blues was invented in the Delta, which is half in AR, half in MS. W. Helena has a great fest every Fall, now called the Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival. Pic is of a typical street scene, 2005.

Joe boulders

Average Rating = 2.00/5 Joe boulders

I blieve this is Aretes of fun, which lives up to its name. We go back to it time and time again. We ahve gone to the Lilly Boulders when it was too wet to climb, and just hung out, enjoying the Japanese rock garden ambience. What a great place.

Stewart Boulders

Average Rating = 2.86/5 Stewart Boulders

Took this on one of our first bouldering trips to Lilly, we used a blanket instead of a pad and had a blast. Amazing how few people climb at Lilly Boulders.
