This is a must do classic at Arapiles. Easy and well protected where you want it.

Sorry to have forgotten this route. Wanted to post it anyway as it doesn't look too bad, the rock is solid.

Bard Buttress is an easy route. Multiple pitches up rock that is much more solid than it appears on film.
The route goes straight up from here.

Petes Pile columar basalt on a warm spring Oregon day. This is 1 of the 3 pics taken of me in the last 32 years of rock climbing. Yup, thats my wide ass up there on top. Now that I'm 50 years old it seems to be spreading some.
Thanks for the pic Tara, that's Ujohn following.

I must be old in that I forgot the name of the route. It's Arapiles for sure. It's the crack to the left of watchtower. Man, climbing in Austraia has so much going for it, not the least of which is fantastic rock, fantastic weather and fantastic people. Too bad they are so far away from the rest of the world, but I suspect Ozzies prefer it that way.
