This is me nearing the end of the 2nd pitch of Haystack. Looking closely you can see the beautiful horizontal dikes that define climbing at the Leap.

This is my first, thankfully not last, rap anchor. We were slightly panicked to get off Holiday On Rock on Marmot Dome in Tuolumne. A nasty storm came in quick just after three of us made it to the top of the first pitch. We made it off and left the gear. Moments later a lightning bolt struck Lembert Dome.

Steve leads the crux second pitch which is only rated 5.4 or 5.5 but a good intro to trad leading. Lots of good placements available.
