Alpine sunrises make waking up at 2am worth it. Ben Hogan and I silouheted by the sun rising over the East Face approach of Long's Peak. Now if only the sun had warmed the place up a little, we would've been in business.

See? This is why I love Seneca. What an awesome rock. Beautiful climbing day despite the weather man's cries of rainy, stormy weather. That's right weather man... take that.

A view of the infamous East Face of Long's Peak from a 13,000 footer that we quickly learned was actually NOT the approach for Long's, but instead it's own little mountain. Guess that's what topo maps are for.
