This was my first actual trad lead. The route, aptly named "First Lead" is in the beautiful City of Rocks. The sky was big and blue that day and I was very pleased. Thanks to Matt Witherspoon for the photo.

This is my roommate Matt. He helped my get into trad climbing and this was one of my first routes, Skyline. This is a photo of him climbing the spire, a very fulfilling climb with beautiful views.

The Green A is a popular trad route in LCC. It is a pin-scarred crack which is now a fun trad route. Thanks to MSpoon for taking the photo.

"All Chalk and No Action" is located in the Green A gully in LCC. I believe it was the first sport route bolted in LCC, but I could be wrong. My roommate Matt took this photo, which is at a rest a little over half way up the route. Definitely a superb and difficult climb!

This photo was taken courtesy of Troy Lincoln. The problem is called 'Shingles' and works up a beautiful overhang. This is the crux move, a big throw to an edge and staying on after your feet swing loose. Great problem!
