Only my 7th time climbing ice ever, this climb looked easy and fun enough, so I grabbed my friend's rack of screws and hopped on. Only got do up to the big tree on the left though because we had to get his ice boots back to the Mountaineer before they closed. Photo taken by my climbing partner Carter Stritch.

After some unexpected timing issues and a couple wrong turns, we didn't make it to the climbing area until noon, so we decided to forego the hike into Buttermilk Falls and climbed at Moore's bridge instead. I can't remember a time when I've climbed at an area where so many people pulled over to take pictures and oogle.

I think this is Yellow Pages, but I'm not sure. At any rate, its a nice short, easy 5.6 that I led. And despite what it looks like, he is NOT touching my bum. Photo taken by our new friend Sensa.

On Yellow Pages (?) at East Animas. Climbing in a sports bra and the flared stretch pants made me feel like I was preppy for a Women of Climbing calendar photo shoot. Well, obviously, all have to start climbing a *bit* harder. :D

We were on our way to Hurrican on July 4th and I saw this line and thought it would make a nice lead. It was only one pitch so my buddy took pics from ther top.

Nope, no ice skates and fancy costumes. But she does know how to handle two tools at once - that's gotta be worth something!

Here we see ClimbingBetty22 in Castle Valley, admiring her domain. Mistress over all she surveys.

Slightly larger than average for her age, but still in mint condition. Very nice!

Me on Jamcrack (5.7) at Sunnysie Bench near Yosemite Falls. I never had the chance to climb true splitter cracks until my trip to the Valley...now I am in love with them and will jam until the day I die!!!!!!

climbingbetty22 bouldering at Cooper's Rock in WVa. Easy problem with fun slopy pockets, although the photo makes them look like jugs.
