Here I am nearing the crux - figuring out what piece I'm going to put where.. Being my first 9 out there, I was a teeny bit nervous, especially since I didn't have the cam I wanted for the edge of the flake.

Now that the crux is protected, I get to finally move thru the hard(er) part.

The first piece is in and it's time to start the climb! That slung hex was just so bomber, it gave me so much piece of mind afterwards.

It was fun finding all the passive placements I could on this climb.. Yet, it was also nice to find any opportunity to plug in a MaxCam.
This was a super fun climb..

Having great fun on Nervous in Suburbia... the high first bolt made this an exciting and fun climb - my first 10 sport climb.

Here I am happily following up Curving Crack, led by organic. My first climb on DL sandstone, ah, sooo nice. This was a fun climb to follow, I was smiling the whole way. Next time I'll have to lead it though.

Leading H&R Block - this was a fun climb, a nice mix of placing pro (1st 2/3's of the climb) and a couple bolts for the top 3rd.

At the start of this route, I was most nervous about my 12yr old taking pictures with my new Canon EOS camera.. But then my focus quickly changed when I went right, instead of left, and finished the route on the 9/10a next to it (forgot which route that was)... I did it clean, so I was happy. I'm glad I went off route though, added a nice element of extra excitement :)

Summer 09 - Cleaning the corner crack on TR. Climbing that route in direct 100 degree heat made it feel NOTHING like an ice cream parlor..
