The magnificant Watchtower crack at Mt. Arapiles. It was an interesting day when we did this, as it started raining towards the top, and we had a double rap in the rain ahead of us.

This was too good to miss this photo op. Pauls belaying on the top of the 5th pitch of Bard. The weather that day was perfect.

Paul just can't keep his ugly mug off the camera. Oh well, he's a good climber, so we won't hold it against him.

This photo is taken from Bard, overlooking the feilds of wimmera, and the main Arapiles camps ground, The Pines. This is the perfect time of year, as the canola fields are bright yellow.

Bard is the ultra-mega classic of Arapiles. The reason it is so popular is because it is so much fun, and solid at grade 12 (especially the freaky traverse). Here I'm falling up the 4th pitch. See how happy I am?

Me pulling off a really nice high step to finish up easily. Quite a change from the painful crimps undured to get up there.

This is a photo of the leadable wall. There are 6 carrot bolts on the left, and in the corner at the right, there are many places for nut placements. The wall on the other side of the river is a little harder, all natural pro, but a bit of a scamble down.
