Jeff Little goes for the first clip. Although a fairly short route, the first clip takes a little commitment because of the height and a crappy landing. Photo by darkside with an HP photosmart620.

While in the Rockies last winter, something in the water made peoples hair change colour. I think it was the barley, yeast, and hops in the water :P

Sorrows End is a crag up in the middle of the Terrance Bay barrens. This mid-October day was sunny most of the day but clouded over by the time I dragged the camera out. Spectacular 360o views though that unfortunately, this pic does no justice to.

Steve makes the move from the alcove and out onto the face. Nice exposure with good holds and jams make this a great finish to a fine route. This is the left variation which I chose for the pro placements.

This 5.8 route in Skaha BC was taken last year and a little over a week after I had severed 90% of the tendons in my thumb. Guess which one??? OK the full thumb splint is a giveaway :)

A late December ascent of Mount Washington took darkside and two friends up through Huntington Ravine via Central Gulley and on to the summit late in the day. A good (and almost free) feast of ribs, chicken, nachos, and beer awaits them back in the valley later.

This prob starts with a tough move and then goes into underclings with friction for feet. I had no audience but Dianna managed to aquire some admirers.
A great day at the beach.

There are a few routes at Bon Echo that can give a person a touch of vertigo. "Front of the Pinnacle" isn't neccessarily one of them unless you climb up on the pinnacle itself. Standing above the lake on the third pitch with the wind blowing can make you feel a little insecure.
