Sherry climbing the flake behind Rushmore...It was an awsome climb!

Nate finished the day with Tex, I had already retired my shoes for the night.

I don't know any one or heard of any one getting this route. Rusty, Nate and I tried for half a day and still walked away defeated.

We started late and so we climbed into the night.

As the light faded the climbing got harder and oddly more fun.

We slept, We climbed, We laughed...all in all we had a blast riding around in the beat up Brown Bomber Van.

when we finished our climbat Devils Tower we went back to the parking lot to watch other climbers tackle the harder faces.

We set up two slacklines in the dorm courtyard. The first was 25' long and 4' off the ground when the second one was 40' long and 15' off the ground. Here Nate and I are playing king of the line.

we got good at the ground level slackline so we decided to step it up a noch and try the 2nd story...it was harder than we had first thought.

Here we were climbing and out of nowhere Sherry crawls into a hole in the stone and deams it her cubby.

this was a sweet climb with huge holes big enough for Sherry to get into.

We woke up after a night of continuous rain. When we first got out of the tent we couldn't even see the tower but as the morning carried on the tower began to appear.
