A quick solo of an easy chimney/crack to get to the anchor. Why am I smiling? Will told me to, and of course I always do what I'm told.

What in the world? Someone seems to have sucked this gel shot dry. There must be vampires at Vedauwoo!

It seemed wise to traverse around the front of this boulder by jamming the crack, and trying to smear with one foot as I went. No go, but it helped break in the new shoes!

While it may not be readily or even mildly apparent, this is in fact a picture of the author of the Vedauwoo climbing guide. Nice guy!
