Here is a picture of me on top of my biggest send over that weekend. The crux was the step over the water. I onsighted it and rated it a .511c. (This is the only digital picture of me I have ... period. I don't have a scanner.)

My partner, Matt, starting Pull the Plug (5.11a)

Average Rating = 2.00/5 My partner, Matt, starting Pull the Plug (5.11a)

I just wanted to put up a picture of my partner Matt on this climb we attempted to finish. We didn't have a guidebook to the area so we just walked up to face and climbed what we could find. After later finding a guidebook we found out we were a little over our heads at the time with this climb and we didn't feel so bad about not finishing.

My partner, Matt at the second bolt

Average Rating = 3.00/5 My partner, Matt at the second bolt

Pull the Plug (5.11a) had runout between the first and second bolt. It was an awesome climb, but a bit over our heads at the time. This was our first time at Rumbling Bald and this climb was never conquered.

My partner was able to get to the second bolt, and now it was my chance to try to ascend the slab.

This is Pilot Mountain

Average Rating = 3.00/5 This is Pilot Mountain

This is a picture of Pilot Mountain. The area surrounding it is just plain flat. The actual mountain (the round one) is closed to climbers, but the whole ridge to the left is where you can climb.
