These steam caves are at the top of Mt. Rainier. The mountain is an active volcano, and heat from deep under the snow-filled summit crater forms steam. This steam melts through the ice all the way to the surface, creating these incredible caves. This unedited photo was captured in these dark, humid, warm labyrinths at the top of the mountain.
