These clouds typically directly follow tornado-producing storms. Which is why they were over my house. Oklahoma weather is exciting.

This is the final photo in a series taken on a flight from Houstan to Seattle. The devestation from Mt. St. Helens's eruption is evident even more than two decades later.

This was my first mountain sunset, and I watched it fade away until the only light left was the moon's. Taken from the lower Paradise glacier.

These steam caves are at the top of Mt. Rainier. The mountain is an active volcano, and heat from deep under the snow-filled summit crater forms steam. This steam melts through the ice all the way to the surface, creating these incredible caves. This unedited photo was captured in these dark, humid, warm labyrinths at the top of the mountain. Coming down out of the alpine fields after a successful summit attempt, we were greated with this seen. Taken from above Paradise, 9-30-04.

This is a lizard I spotted while I was wandering around Dog Iron.

This is an area that is used by the camp as a top-rope climb. there are numerous hangers on top of the rock to the right for this purpose. The rock on the left is 30+ feet tall.
