Ok, I thought I was going to get my stitches out today. It didn't happen. Here is my foot, 9 days after surgery. It's still really sore and swollen. Now I have to do gentle range of motion exercises. It hurts when I do it. Left foot will be done on November 23rd.

Mitch and I did a canopy tour; you take the chairlift up spring mountain and then make your way down the mountain on a series of ziplines and high ropes elements. It was lots of fun.

Ted enjoying one of the 10c pitches on Treasure of the Sierra Madre. After a balancey start, the rest of the pitch was easy going.

You can always try flying!
This is what Mitchal gave me for my birthday. This is a photo of me flying through the air with the greatest of ease (with the help of the trapeze club in New Paltz). It was a BLAST, a great rest day activity.

This is day 15, my foot is feeling much better and the stitches are finally out! Hooray. I still can't put on a shoe, the bandages are too big so I am stuck in a surgical boot. I am going to a personal trainer 2x per week, it's amazing how weak I am. I figured climbing would have made me a lean, mean machine, but, I am a weakling compared to my fellow trainees. My next surgery is in 4 days, they will be dragging me into the OR.

Once you finish Johnny Vegas you have an "interesting" exposed scramble to the Solar Slab Terrace. Just don't fall!

G belaying gblauer on the second pitch of POD. (Unknown climber on Dream of Wild Turkeys). It was so cold and windy (40s) that we had to bail at the end of the second pitch. Photo from the ground by Mitchal. POD is sustained and really hard when you can't feel you hands and feet.
