Mitchal kissing the nalgene bottle goodbye, moments before he pitched it 150 feet off of the saddle of the spires. Yeah, the bottle survived just fine!

Brenda on the first pitch (5.10d) of Gettin' Wood. Upon reaching the belay, it promptly started pouring rain. Add high winds and you have a very cold group of climbers!

Vincente belaying Phil on the Western spire. This was the last climb of the day, as the sun was setting. This pitch is very exposed with a cool rap off the south side from the top of the spire. Photo by Mitchal.

gblauer on the summit of Estrallita. A great introduction to EPC multi-pitch climbing, as Estrallita is not overly exposed, nor is the climbing difficult (5.10b pitches, with alternate routes for the 2 5.11 pitches). Oh yeah, be sure to check out the summit register and goodies (the book is great!) Photo by Costellobr.

Mario, gblauer and costellobr climbing the fin on Estrallita. it's a great climb for those challenged by exposure, as it is not a typical EPC multipitch. Photo was shot from the road, 6 pitches down.

Mitchal enjoying his walk up Jungle Boy. This is a fun route with a small, well protected roof. Note the pavillion below, there are lots of holes in the top due to Jungle Wall rock fall.

gblauer on a top rope (graciously set up up by a J-Tree regular). This is an easy sport climb, but with huge run outs between the bolts. Great climbing with beautiful blue skies

Iamnotender selecting just the right gear for the tree. Merry Chistmas one and all. (Oh yeah, 5 minutes later the entire tree fell over under the weight of an entire trad rack)

PA climbers tooke over the New Palz Hostel over Halloween weekend. The owner, Craig Sheppard is a great guy and runs a very nice facility. For $22 per night, you have a bed, linens, access to the common areas including the kitchen and living room.
