The wall consists of an 8X8 adjustable wall above a 3 foot vertical. There is a 4X11 foot secton that corners on another 5X11 foot section. The 5X11 foot section is mostly a crimping system wall with an adjustable crack.

The first step was to put up the 2X8 stringers that the wall will attach to. On the lower stringer I had to rent a hammer drill from Home Depot to drill into the cement 2"s and used anchor bolts to secure them. the upper stringers were fasened with 4" bolts into the wall studs.

I built the framework in sections and stood them up and fasend them to the stringers with metal L-brackes purchased at Home Depot. The adjustable section has 5 heavy duty hinges at the joint and 1/4' chain to set the position. You can see the rope at the top of the picture which is used with pullys to raise and lower the wall.

There is about $600 in lumber sitting there. Then there is about another $400 - $500 additional supplies. What you can't see are the 6 sheets of 3/4" plywood leaning up aginst the wall to the right.

Happened across this climber on Potash road on a nice warm May afternoon. In the 90+ degree temprature the unknown climber had to take his shoe off mid flight due to burning rubber. Once he cooled his foot off he continued this 5.8, 1 ptich, 50 foot, 5 star route called 30 Seconds Over Potash.
