This THREAD inspired
me to dig up this photo from 2 years ago. The knot was half finished when he got distracted and then climbed to the top of the 35 foot wall
and let go. He very nearly lost his leg. Please be careful friends!

This shot was taken from Old Mill Park near downtown Mill Valley.
Mt. Tam can be seen on the right.

This is the view (natural light) from inside a small cave which was created when a 90 ton section of the Main Rock separated during the storms of '92. In addition to the famous Mickey's Beach Crack, (12b) the routes Flounder, Plate O Shrimp, and Scorpio came crashing down and were forever lost. The two visible, remarkably preserved 15 year-old stainless SMC bolts and hangers are virtually rust free; a timeless portal to the past. Although these routes shall never be climbed again, they will not be forgotten.
