Gorgeous labor day weekend 2006, and who knew there was anything this well bolted in Tuolumne? Me leading the second pitch of Shagadelic.

Absolutely gorgeous weekend, I borrowed my friend's #5 and #6 camalots and led Great White Book. Immaculate white granite, cerulean sky, incredible views ... worth the 8 hours of labor day traffic it took to get there!

Here I am, happy to have passed the very wide section of pitch 3, posing for the camera with a #6 camalot at my feet.

Very fun climb, gorgeous day. Actually manage to place 3 pieces on pitch 3 (a #6 and two #5 camalots - borrowed wide gear from a friend). Pic taken by Elaine M.

Climbed at RRR 2005, Shere Khan, otherwise known as A Fraction of the Action 10a. Whatever it's called, it was stellar!

A bit of scrambling required for the approach. Can't believe no one else was there the day before the Rendezvous!

Tried the start to this 5.11+ route during the Climb Like a Girl clinic at RRR 2006. Roxanna Brock took the photo :) Oh, and I didn't get very far - gave up and did the 5.9+ around the corner.

Don't know who this was, but had to take the photo. How awesome is that!

What a beautiful place, and enough climbing to last a lifetime! Will definitely be back!

Went for a walk early in the morning, watched the full moon set as the sun rose over J Tree in January.

J-Tree is so scenic - here's a pic of Headstone rock at Ryan Campground - ran out of time to climb it ... next time ...

I look this from the base of Harvey's Center, my partner is at the first belay ledge. Those summit blocks were interesting (for a NOOB leader like me)!
