For us, this 10b was a rude welcome to Smith. That said, it was one of the most memorable and enjoyable. So many cool moves, little laybacks and flakes that require you to assume all sorts of crazy positions. Wimping out and toproping here is hermarphromoose; being brave enough to clip all the bolts and taking the photo is justice.

We got a lot of shots of this route but I especially like this one because it hints at the wall's enormity. We were very happy to have a 70m rope along. Here, justice finally nears the anchor of Cosmos (10a) after 30m of really fun face climbing.

This is a great warm-up climb in The Watchtower area of American Fork Canyon. Follows a diagonal course up and to the right, and conveniently leads you around to the right of the big overhang visible above me. Photo by justice.
