We took a break after the 9th pitch to reflect on what a beautiful place we were climbing in. What a stellar route!

This shot was taken on August 6, 2005. It rained and hailed on us while we were climbing. And had thunder and lightning while decending via the Mountaineer's Route. Still one of the best climbs I've ever been on.

August 6, 2005. After finishing the East Buttress of Mt. Whitney, we ended up joining ropes with another party that had done the East Face in order to rappel the icy patch on the Moutaineer's Route. Note: Bring ice axe next time.

This is a picture of me on the summit prow with a beautiful view. One more pitch to go...a short, nasty, sandy, loose one.

This is a picture I took of the Witch Needle while standing at the top of the Charlatan Needle. My friends Jason & Brandon are at the last belay of Igor Unchained. Kinda hard to see them though.

Dynamic pull to the edge from an in-cut shelf. Problem is slightly overhanging.

Me lovin the straight in, no brainer aid.....pretty much plug and play. This was my friends first wall....we did it in a 12 hour push.
