Due to a family on the summit block, parties were backed up 20 feet below the summit. We're watching the party behind us come up from the summit block.

We climbed cathedral with a party we met at the base, and went all the way to the summit. Thanks Will and Jason for taking our pictures. What a view!

The hike to Cathedral peak takes you through forest along Budd Creek as well as along granite slabs, and takes about an hour and a half if you know the way. Here's Ross hiking down the trail, happy to be off the mountain before the afternoon storms!

This is me hiking in the smokies, on the AT near Cosby Gap. It snowed the week before and treated us Louisianians to a rare opportunity to hike in the snow. Suprisingly, it wasn't really that cold!
