Mad Rock Hookers after 2 months of use. Mainly used indoors but were used a few times on sandstone. Pity, as they were getting comfortable and performed well. (photo is for shoe review)

This is me on my first outside climb at Summit Rock in November 2003. The climb is rated 5.8 but the hardest part was getting used to the extremely cold sandstone. (Hand warmers were hidden in our chalk bags.) Photograph taken by fellow outside rock virgin, John.
