This thing is sweet!!! It allows perfect gear if you desire to lead it or is easily set up as a top rope. It goes at 10+

This looks like the work of someone who probably shouldn't be in posession of an electric drill.

This one is unsafe since the general rule is that you should never drill the hole less than ten hole diameters from the nearest hole or flaw in the rock.

This photo shows the distance between the bolts on this retro bolted 5.5 if you look closer you can also see the "practice" holes drilled by the bolter. As can be seen here theres not even a need to stand up straight to clip the second bolt, it's just an insult to the members of the climbing community who at least try to respect climbing ethics.

The Cathedral Spires are as inspiring a piece of rock as Iv ever seen. Hopefully my next trip to the valley Ill find myself on them.

The Sentinal is another of those awsomely inspiring pieces of rock that once its lure gets to you theres no choice but to take the bull by the horns!

Winter in the Catskills can give a wide variety of climbs to challenge the aspiring leader and seasoned climber alike.

Climbing in the "Daks" can involve many difficult conditions including being "benighted" if your not carefull. This photo was taken on the route called "Screw and Climbax" on the north side of Pitchoff.

One of the most photogenic pitches in the Gunks is this...CCK, The exposure and clean rock is always a fun and an enjoyable walk in the park.

Bob Shire, my partner, leads his way towards our main objective, The Shield. For me this picture captures a moment in time that defies description. There was something about that particular moment that defines for me what climbing is all about. The perfect form of the rock the blue sky and two nuts crazy enough to get there. Thanks Bob.

As we climb up we nust also find a way to get back down to the mother earth, Rapelling is one of the fastest ways to get back down.

Thic very classic 5.10 is one of those hidden jewels that once you climb it you'll be back again and again to see just how well you'r climbing muscles are working.

Winter in the gunks ia not a time to forget about climbing. There are always things to do, even mixed alpine style climbing.

This one usually comes in for a while each winter. Watch out for warm days though it falls down several times each year.

This classic line is one of those that aspiring leaders find as a challenge to be reconed with.
