Wes/Smithclimber really had to work hard on this problem, I just didn't have it in me though... I had a good time just watchin'. We had a nice morning in the shade.

This is the second in a sequence of three photos I took of Wes/sminthclimber when we were taking an easy day, we didn't ever really rest on our trip, but we got full value out of it!

This is the third of these shots of this sweet problem in the Curry Village/Glacier Point Boulderfield, a wonderful shady place where we found cool air and solotude, in the worlds most crowded climbing area.

I took this photo of Wes/smithclimber just before we took of up the South Face of Washington Column... The hotest sickest wall I have ever been on, not long after this I was pukin' all over the route and had to be lowered off.

This is ~T~ and Brody's first camping trip to go climbing and I was so glad I was there to share it with them... I hope it was just the first of many trips we will go on together!

I was running around like a nut in the woods climbing from one vantage point to another, searching for enough light, and trying to hold as still as I could becauase I had to use such a long exposure.

The third day of the gathering at Smith Brody finally got into it, and was bouldering pretty hard, he was also getting used to me always pointing my camera at someone, and stopped "posing" for pics.

This is Smithclimber throwing out a pretty cool boulder problem. I didn't know where we were headed when he said "grab your camera and shoes" so when we got back in the shade and all I had was 200 film, I just pushed it to 400 and went for it... The developing was hella expensive!

Here's the last drawing I should need to submit for my portaledge article. it is a little big but I wanted to make sure you can read the text.

OK, now I am gettin' it. I have another drawing for the article, this one I was able to draw myself on paint, save to Picture It to size it for the web, and converted it from a big bitmap to a jpeg at under 14k.

Picasso Wall as seen from the last turn off before the parking area (or drop off point). This is all I have right now, I will try to update this as soon as possible. I have one other but it's really blurry.

~T~ was sqeeling so loud while she swung on wyoclimbers rope! It was so funny I could hardly stand still to take the pics. Next time we're gonna do the Scarface Swing!

Ring of Fire is the hardest thing ~T~ ever has done! And she did it really good, with two short hangs, and nice footwork. ~T~ uses her eyes and feet really well together!

This is Rickoldschool and ~T~ just chillin' under the edge of the Rope a Dope Block during a brief thunderstorm. You can see from Rick's smile his spirit is never dampened.

Bill, wyoclimber, does not like to toprope he likes to keep it real and lead, he don't care if the draws are on or not, he just wants to pay for it when he climbs. PS Mod, I will add the link to data base tomorrow, I forgot, thanks

I thought the way the shadows and colors was so cool when I panned up to see what wyoclimber was doing. I am starting to appreciate Smith more and more each time I go.

This was Brody and me refusing to "look this way and smile" when ~T~ had my camera. It turned out to be a really great photo! I will keep the print on my wall with all my other kids, and friends, and kids friends. Submitted as low even though Brody is bouldering.

Here is the long awaited pic of the krossbrace on the Krustyledge. I hope this clears up most of the confusion about the ledge. It is the whole key to being able to use the PVC for a frame, and the size of it is critical.

This shows the bottom of the Krustyledge well, and highlights the suspension "triangles" and the krossbrace. It also shows where the fabric of the main bed sheet was folded back to form a doubled perimeter.

is ~T~ painting wyoclimbers toenails, or I should say repainting, he still was sportin' an old wearing out coat from the Utah Gathering! Maybe all the feet was what made ~T~ sick?

~T~ cranked out Ring of Fire like she climbed this kind of stuff all the time, I can't wait 'til she tells me she lead it! She's got it in her I know it, she has an unbelievable amount of natural talent for this climbing stuff! ~T's~ love of climbing is like a ring of fire, it burns strongly!

This is the Slabs as it was originally called, mob scene eh? the fingers crack in the middle of the photo is the testpiece Pisces is one of the hardest cracks I ever climbed. I wish I still had it in me... maybe I do!
