putting up a FA

Average Rating = 0.00/5 putting up a FA

this is me on top rope putting up a first ascent on one of the pinanncles of a mountain we own, on the backside of sugar mountain in NC. this was an easy route kinda 5.8 ish but the crux is 10 feet off the gound, after that its a 5.6 jug haul to the anchers but has to be top roped cause protection is inthinkable on this rock. but since i fell on it and it was raining, i went ahead and named it "5.10 in the rain"

lutherock!!!!

Average Rating = 0.00/5 lutherock!!!!

this pic is from the top of a rock named crossrock, and the krag in the photo is THE lutherock, from where the camp gets its name. as far as i know the only climbing done on this this is some 4th class scrambling up the backside, but no 5th class routes, till this summer, i deffinetly plan un putting some FA's up. anyone interested on helping, and out in the Newland NC area durring the summer PM me, we'll set something up.

so 20 minutes into my first ABS competition, my partner TIm says hey Nathan, give me a spot, and so i do. and he falls, in ways noone expected on me, and shattered my glasses. i finished the comp with only one eye and a hella bruise. so i tied for 7th beginner male, but at least i i finished it right, one eye is wayyyyyy hard!!!!!
