Jansom Bay, This is just a taste of the bouldering available on Ko-Tao, pretty much all the stones on this beach have a number of sweet problems on them. A bit of a hike to get there and you have to pay a small fee to use the bay but well worth it.

Bouldering in the jungle of Ko Tao. The rock is rough and it will chew through your fingers, and there are plenty of insects to chew through the rest of you.
But it is still well worth it!!! Photo: Carolyn

The Toyota area has many boulders scattered about. they are mainly slabby with tiny crimps on granite so the fingers take a beating. there are also a number of spot routes around.

Spittle Hill. The letter box, so named because of the slot in the middle of the face. A cool big reach problem on nice jugs, v5. Photo: Mike, climbiner: leadelephant.
