Location: Drive p the Extew Forest service road for approximately 4.1 km. Drive past a rock quarry on the right hand side of the road and park at the next logging spur of to the east side of the road. Hike up spur on good trail for approximately 15 minutes to the base of the Lower Extew Sport Wall. On the way up you will notice a smaller overhanging cliff with sport route on it. The climb is called Stinger that goes at mid 5.11.

Pitch One 25 meters 5.10a
Climb up steep juggy crack to a ledge, climb through a rough making some strenuous moves up a crack. At the top of the crack step left onto an arête and make another move to the belay.

Pitch Two 20 meters 5.11b A0
(It is possible to aid up steep crack A1)
Climb up above belay making steep strenuous moves up to a bolt. (approximately 10 meters) Climb past the bolt to a chain traverse. Move across the chain making a rising traverse up to a belay.

Pitch Three 25 meters 5.8
Climb straight up above the belay to a large overhang. Move up and left following a handrail up to a belay.
From here it is possible to make one airy 50 meter rappel to the ground.

North Gulley Route Photo was taken from the highway so approach may be decieving. Expect at least siz gruelly hours of steep BC bush climbing to gain a camp in a beautiful alpine setting. Well woth the efffort!

Super cool route that takes you across a lunar landscape! If you can handle a 30 to 45 minute hike up steep bear infested country with Sitka spruce trees you can drive thru this is the one for you!

This line takes you up a steep handrail of jugs. Perfect spot for those rainy days on the coast. Excellent route!
