This is me beginning the trek down from the Bugaboos, after a nine day trip. The weather was just beginning to close down on us as we started and we got hit hard on the way down. Halfway down the trail, we ran into two beautiful girls who randomly gave us some cookies! (True story; they worked at the Heli-ski lodge and were hiking up to say hello to their friend, the caretaker of the Kain hut, a guy named Felix). The side of the peak visible in the right side of the photo is Hounds Tooth, one of the smaller in the area.

ah, the joy of climbing. On this trip to Smith Rock, we'd get psyched, jump up and down to get warm, take off our shirts and climb at top speed. Great fun. I think this is taken at the base of the dihedrals, not sure.

This is my friend Tyler bouldering in Leavenworth. I belive we were uphill from the Beach, it took some hiking and scrambling to get here. I was leaving for Costa Rica the day after this, and wanted to get in one last session. Gorgeous morning, perfect rock.

My friend and partner Tyler bouldering in Smith rock, in feb. 2004. We had a great time; crisp climbing temps and great rock, plus the climbs are great.

This is me on a route called Chicken Mcnuggets. It was a fun route- you felt like every foothold was going to pop as soon as you weighted it. This shot seems like it is composed very well. Sorry, I don't have a higher res version. I might be able to get one in the future.

See that little man at the base of Snowpatch Spire in the Bugaboos in SE British Colombia? Thats me. The wall goes on, oh, about 800ft further. I'm on the glacier approaching the spire, and my partner Tyler is taking this photo from about 3/4 of a mile away.

This shot is of Hounds Tooth in the Bugaboo range in SE British Colombia. Its the first thing you see as you pull into the parking lot for the area (after 45 odd km of rough dirt road), and it takes your breath away. Just don't forget to wire your car against the porcupines!

Spent about 10 days at Castle Hill with no pads, no guidebook, and no car. Found some really awesome climbs, this was a V6. You really can't tell how hard a problem is without getting on it down there, which spices things up a bit.
