Photos by microbarn

I had just lost my sunglasses on arrival of the summit. I didn't want to lose the ring I was about to use to propose with.

Lam didn't know I was about to propose. Thinking we were on the summit strictly for photos, she pauses for a panoramic. I sit in the background with a lump in my throat.

Lam comes over for what she believes to be innocent photos on the summit. I still have the ring hidden from her. Jim (Kubi) goofs off with the camera.

The entire proposal was hidden by the need for these photos on the summit of Seneca. Little did she know.....

I propose to Lam. She says yes immediately.

Lam accepted my proposal. Of course we have to kiss and hug afterwards.

After accepting she sat down to take it in. I did surprise her afterall!

Sign actually says "DO NOT THROW OBJECTS CLIMBERS BELOW". Chris who led for our group of 3 that day, had this idea. I think it came off well.

This is half way up our first multi pitch climb. It was a great climb and Chris (the cameraman) did a great job leading the climb. A very fun day.

This is a garter snake I almost stepped on while getting to Lookout Rocks in MA. It is about 15 inches long and had recently eaten.
