Bryant McDonnell sends this beast of a route in So. Illinois, Shorty the Pimp. He projected the route for several months before getting the send with pinpoint accuracy.

A friend of mine discovered this crack near Canyonlands while working on his PHD. It had ancient steps carved into it by the Barier Indians over 4,000 years ago and Not one local archiologist had even seen it. I was given the chance to climb a crack that had not been touched in thousands of years, and to witness the multitude of art that awaited me.

Josiah Zayner (Organic) works on Giant City's classic Devil on a Leash as his little brother, Timmy looks on. This is supposedly one of the best boulder problems in So Ill.

Although this is an amazing splitter OW that spans the entire crack, most people prefer to just climb to the pod.

This route is featured on the cover of Bernard Gillet's guidebook, a very short, but fun route.

Staring with intense awe at Supercrack. We arrived late and decided we were going to climb the next day.... to wake up to a torrential downpoor! I guess it wasnt my time.

This was a very hard 5.9 crack. It may look easy if you stand beneath it, but in reality it is a devious Lumpy flair which I'm pretty sure was designed to kill your feet.

Although this may look tricky its easy, but sparsely protected 5.6. Very fun last pitch to an amazing 3 star route.

A 10 pitch 5.10 "valley" classic, the Crest Jewel is considered by many to be one of the best slab routes in the world.

This is an old school pic of me bouldering Yosemite slab. Notice how much erosion can change things over the years.

This is me on pitch three of the RMNP alpine Classic Sykes Syckle (5.9+++++). Amazing climb, but too bad i had to dislocate my knee on the stemming crux. But i still managed to lead the crux pitch and the last pitch, knee throbbing and all.
