Rapping after a hard day practicing aid.

Average Rating = 4.00/5 Rapping after a hard day practicing aid.

In preparation for climbing Resolution Arete, which involves an A1 roof, my partner and I went down to the Oasis to practice aiding on steep, overhung faces. I took this photo of him just after he had finished cleaning and jugging the route.

Winding Path Up the Coleman Glacier

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Winding Path Up the Coleman Glacier

This shot was taken by me during an Alpine Leadership course with the American Alpine Institute. We are on our way to alpine ice climbing practice on the seracs above on the Coleman Glacier of Mt. Baker. We had all previously summited Baker via the Easton Glacier route, and this side of the mountain offered us a whole different perspective on the mountain.

Blazin up Birdland

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Blazin up Birdland

This is me running up pitch 5 of Birdland in Red Rocks. It's getting very late in the day and as I headed up the last pitch the wind picked up and the sun dropped. Had epic potential, but we managed to knock out the raps and got down safe and sound.

Ginger Cracks Twilight

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Ginger Cracks Twilight

This is my partner Bill atop the Ginger Butress after finishing up the Grade IV Ginger Cracks. We made the top just in time for the dropping sun to catch the rest of Red Rock Canyon and the surrounding hills perfectly. A great top out to a wonderfully diverse and enjoyable climb!
