I almost called this "found my glasses" because I'd been looking all day for my glasses that I'd left there shooting video the weekend before. My glasses were 6" from my face when I took this pic. I'd been looking for them all day.

I just started getting this thing cleaned when this was taken.
photo by Larry Cave. He has ALS and wasn't able to even hold his arm above his head at the time, but he made it up the 60 degree choss pile without any aid. I was impressed.

The crash pads are to keep Adam from landing where the wild goats sleep. This is the second smallest of the four rooms.

The change from roof to overhang in this pic gives an idea of what the place is like. It's nice!

I couldn't feel my fingers, but had a great time bouldering 4 days before Christmas. I didn't have to get out my chalk bag for once.

The dark area at the base recedes back at least thirty feet. There are several places like it nearby. I'm being really careful cleanig it. I don't know of anything anywhere nearby that is comparable, so I'm being careful what I do.

I wish I could be more specific about where in Chandler, but there's great rock at my mom's house, and I generally go there on weekends to help around the lawn because my stepdad has ALS.

This is what I come home to every day. Some people on the site say I should be supporting my local rock gym. I do, but it's just for building advise.

The ledge on the right is where I top out. It's great for route setting too. It's gonna be a supporting structue for an overhang soon.

some baby soda straws and curtains about three feet into a cave near my mother's house. you wouldn't want to step under them either, as it's forming upward also. left of it is 30 feet of roof that you CAN touch.

I haven't tried to climb this yet, but it looks managable. I'd like to see it climbed a few times before trusting the stability of the top overhang. Looks kinda loose to me. Maybe I'll rap downand test it fist.

this is about my ability level right now. i tried to get a copy of the Oklahoma Climbers Guide, but Backwoods says it's out of print. It seems like I'm the only one around every time I can make it to chandler. Let me know what this is, and I'll update it

It's far from complete, but here it is. Pretty good for someone who had never been inside a real rock gym, I think. I am always looking for input as to how I can improve it. I don't own a camera, so there's nothing really recent to see. suffice it to say, as a get paychecks, it grows
