The last pitch of L'arete du Genepi. An outstanding granite route 40 min above the refuge d'Argentieres. Rating D, length 6 pitchs, pro is Ok (pitons here and there), you may want to add a few nuts or friends ;-)

Tissalatine spot, Hoggar region, Algeria, The route is named "Le poids et la mesure" 6b, 4 pitches, 160 m. The rappel from the top of the final overhanging block is not only impressive but can cause a real pain read the post "What would you have done Epic 1"

Le poids et la mesure "Tissalatine, Hoggar region, Algeria, 6b, 4 pitches, 160 m. heavily bolted, its nature is very varied. the finale is grandiose, but beware of rappel snag or read the post "What would you have done" The shadow in the bottom left hides the drop toward the valley floor which is 120m below

From our bivouac place on teh Garet El Djenoun, highest mountain of LAgeria, in the Hoggar region. We were on ou way to do the "Coup de sabre" 450m, D route

The second group of the UCPA arrives at "le Dome", 4015 m. Behind the group, can be seen "La barre" 4102m. The group is led by "Louis", a fearsome guide whose bark was bigger than his bite (but the young girls he coached didn't get wise to this before much later).
