The Gulf of Slides (FIrst Gully) after a storm.

IShouldKnowBetter took this of me after she lowered off the Practice Slab. "You were like a woman posessed on that ice!" "I had a mission, the sooner I got to the top, the sooner I got to the bottom!"

Set up a toprope and rapped down. The snow on the hike up behind the slabs was awfully wet, kept clogging up the crampons to the point that I took them off. Then as I started down to the top of the slab I had to stop and put them back on so I didn't take the express route. Having them on and full of snow was almost as dangerous!

You can tell the total n00bie on his first time on ice, unsure what to bring, he brings EVERYTHING!
