Talk about a great route! One of the best 10a's you'll ever get on.

I cant remember what or where this problem is but its cool and its at the Lake. Nate making easy work of it.

Not 100% sure if this route is called Cheerio Bowl or Cereal bowl, but I am sure that this is an awesome, long, route with the feeling of exposure. Not the greatest pic but I like how the trees look. Also, it gives a good profile of the arete.

This is an awesome arete that starts sitting down in the dark area at the bottom. It goes at about V1 or so, maybe V2. Its a little harder now that a handhold broke off. Climber is Chad, photo by Nate

Wisconsin Sucks, those were the first words out of Nates mouth first time he climbed this problem. Its a good problem, but Nate just got back from a 3 month roadtrip. Here, I'm about to go for the crux moves.

We found these set of top anchors in an area that off the beaten path at Petenwell. You really wouldn't need top anchors for trading this route so we figure they must be for top-roping. This would be a fun trad route, but the rock quality/strength is somewhat questionable. Very fun climb though.

Chad working a very tough line that was originally done by Nate ( Chossmonkey ). A year or so after the FA, These out of state gymrats come and do the second ascent, then put a video on their gyms website with the name of the town in it. Not what this sensitive area needs! But, what do they care.

Nate almost getting the crux on this problem. I've seen many good boulderers try it, but I've never seen anyone complete it. It doesn't look to bad but you swing right off it.

Chossmonkey pimping a new line at the Summer Solstice Crank Du Jour at Devils Lake. Nobody was able to top this baby out but it might have been done by now.

Who says that everything has been climbed at Devils Lake. There are TONS of boulder problems out there waiting for the right preson to claim them. Here, Nate comes close to nailing the FA on a sweet problem. The FA was done moments later by the legendary Eric Z.
