This was the view we arrived to in Lone Pine on Tue. 3/29. Amazing day! P.S. Anybody know how I can remove the little red stick in the bottom center of the shot without cropping it out? Thanks. Photo by sbclimber.

I shot this from my campsite @ Lone Pine Creek on Tues. 3/29 afternoon. To me it makes the mountain look like some Himalayan Peak. Photo by sbclimber.

i just submitted this shot for comparison with another pic I took. What's up with the vertical orange streak I have been getting in about half my shots? For the photo critique group, I am just a beginner, any tips? Thanks

I (sbclimber) took this at about 6:30 in the morning on my way to summiting Mt. Muir, Day Needle, Keller Needle, and Mt. Whitney. Visible is the entire escarpment from Mt. Muir to Mt. Whitney.

I (sbclimber) took this shot at about 6:30 in the morning. I happened to notice this beautiful alpenglow on my way to summiting Mt. Muir, Day Needle, Keeler Needle, and Mt. Whitney this day. Great sunrise to match a great day.

Terrible song but a great problem. This is me(sbclimber) on the perfect lieback of False Up 20, in the JBMF area. Easy but really fun and a little nerve racking going for the onsight without a pad. Thanks to Wagbone for the shot.

Here we are. The sun has gone behind the hills, time for one last send before we start the very short hike back to the campsite. And so ends another day in Paradise. Photo by sbclimber.

Casey Cordi about half way up the first pitch of the great "Comic Book". It was so damn cold I almost didn't follow him up it. (windy, oh so windy). Glad I did though, as it was a very nice crack indeed. Photo by Sbclimber.

Point and click, point and click. Jtree makes it so easy to get awesome sunrise/sunset pictures. If there's clouds, it's going to be awesome...you can count on it. Photo by Sbclimber.

Sbclimber on the final move of the wonderful "Crowd Pleaser" at Stoney point. What you can't see in this picture is the fairly long fall (onto a perfect landing) if you come off right here. Such a great route! Photo by Casey Cordi.

We had to hike for about 30 minutes through the snow to reach this "secret" spot. Tons of high quality boulders as far as the eye could see. Not many people (if anybody) have climbed here, which is why it's so great. Photo by Casey Cordi.
