Tamara enjoying a solid route with a good walk-off. This was our first climb of the day. It was easy and fun with lots of good gear and holds. No name as of yet...

Slowdive contemplating whether or not he can crank through the roof. Easy climbing leads to a challenging roof with great gear. Belay off gear and walk-off, no name yet...

Kim following on a new route (I still haven't named it). The begining was a little commiting for me on lead (I'm so out of shape), but the rest was easier. Fun route, nice day at IC.

Another perfect weather day at Iso. Scott W., Kim, and I Climbed a new line just left of DT's Roof. I haven't decided on a name as of yet. Near vertical climbing for about 30 feet eases up to a low angle corner/slab.

We started the day off with a warm up route near the campgrounds. Shine is one of my favorites. Good gear with a fun crux.

We were only able to get in one pitch today. The rain and hail was coming down pretty hard. This is the most obvious line at the Frontier area. A large, clean, vertical dihedral. Lots of fun.

It sounded like Bret was really enjoying this first pitch on the Green Wall. Beautiful line that now goes to the top thanks to Manny and Bret.

Manny and Bret, 7 years after Ben and I did the first pitch, topped out on Everything's Gone Green via a crack system that begins 30' to the right. Looks tough, but Manny says there are plenty of face holds to help weak people like me ;)

This pitch is mostly a race with time. Manny lead the first three pitches and Bret the fourth on what became the FA for Transmission. The first two pitches had previously been completed a few years back.

Manny really wanted to do this route following the natural line through the offwidth. I was in favor of a thin crack through a roof then 30' of face climbing, but that is because I'm awful with OWs. I think his way is better now and I am excited to give it a go. I guess I'll need to learn to love the OWs. I'll remeber to bring up some car parts, strong tree branches, etc. ;)

I've never seen this much water rushing through here before. "I guess we're not going this way today."

Here is Brad sizing up the mini roof on Closer's second pitch. I usually exit right @5.8, but Brad decided to crank straight through it. When I got there, following, I decided "forget that, I'm going right" ;)

This is where the fun begins. It is a little tricking getting into the notch, but you do have great gear. Once in the notch you can semi-chimney your way to the belay ledge. Fun, fun! One more pitch to the top. ;)

Crista is about to the midway point on DT's roof. This route involves some nice stemming, face, and a huge roof for fun. "Fear the roof" Chris says.

This was Scotts first first ascent. Here he is placing his second piece. It's a shorter (50') route that goes through a good size roof and a couple smaller ones. He went around the left side of the roof initially, but after top-roping it later, he is ready to send the roof variation. Very fun route...

Here is Scott W. preparing to deal with the left side of the roof. next time he is confident that he can lead through the center of the roof. We all TR'd the roof and it goes. Fun stuff.

Alan at the start of "Spooky". This route is about 120' and follows a corner than an arete.

Here is a picture of me trying to pull my weak self up on this boulder at Rock Tanks. I think my spotters were more scared than me (my technique was very sketchy).

This is a small boulder on the way in that has great smooth jugs for campusing. It's all for fun anyway. ;-)

This is another nice route on the Winter Wall Area which has sun for just about the whole day. Great area for climbing a bunch of moderate single pitch lines.

This is the second pitch of the great route called "Closer". We now go straight up rather than to the left as my gear shows in this photo.
