Again, while feeling the vibe of Ansel Adams, I took this one of Half Dome.

This is a B&W shot of Half Dome taken from Sentinal Bridge. To see just what a difference it makes when taking a photo in color versus B&W be sure to check out the other photo: "Half Dome from Sentinal #2".

How steep is that 1st pitch on South Seas? STEEP! I took this shot from the back of the Alcove near where South Seas begins. Those ropes hang about 80 feet away from where I am. That's a VERY STEEP 1st pitch. Check out my other South Seas photos too.

This shot is of the boys rapping down South Seas after fixing the initial pitches.
They had intended to keep going, but after hearing there was going to be a Margarita party back in Camp 4 that night...

How steep are the 1st few pitches on South Seas? STEEP! I took this shot from the back of the Alcove near where South Seas begins. Those ropes hang over 100 feet away from where I am. Looks like a spider dangling from a thread over El Cap meadow doesn't it? Check out my other South Seas photos too.

Sean cleaning pitch 5 of the Trip. I got this shot after lowering out into the middle of nowhere to do the free hanging jug. Sean insisted that I be the one to jug the free line, since he was mildly freaked out. It's uncanny just how similar this photo came out to the cover shot from the Supertopo Big Walls book. If you have the book, you'll see that it's almost an exact match.

I thought the pink alpenglow on the Sentinal with the moon above would make a nice shot. It didn't come out quite as nice as I would have liked.
