My friend Kristian seems quite happy that the midnight sun makes climbing possible 24 hours. The view is not too bad, either.

Aiding in Northern Norway. This route is great fun climbing, but cleaning it is not too cool. Photo taken by my friend and belay monkey Mr. Brox.

"I swear I didn't fall asleep on that ledge!" Yeah, right... My good friend taking a nap on a tiny ledge after a long night.

Here yoy can see Stetind, Norway's national moutain. (I'm a bit embarassed that we even have one, but I think Stetind is a good choice when we are to boast such a thing.) It it is situated in Tysfjord of Nordland county. The climbing classic is the South Pillar, which is partly hidden in the fog to the right (not the slab-like pillar in the horizon, but the one in the middle). The South Pillar offers great multi-pitch climbing, Norwegian grade 6, which translates approximately into 5.10.
