This is one of the finest climbs I have done. The slab climbing is new to me and was that ever exciting. Climbing the Dike here was no bore either, smooth in some places and jugs in others.

This is my first trip up Tad. What a gas of a route, starts slow and has major exposure in just a few moments.

No need for a really big rack either. June 05 ascent was a great finish to a whole week in Yosemite's backcountry. Cables not up on descent is pretty wild also. A must do route but rated R not to be taken lightly.
