A successful send of the Johnny Vegas-Solar Slab link-up resulted in an adventurous evening of rapelling in the dark. The route looks much more appealing in the early morning light.

Early morning, on our way to do Solar. Ended up getting rained out, but amazing all the same.

Unfortunately there is no reference in the picture, but the right crack is little wider than my arm.

Left: 5.6 arete, right: 5.9 crack variation.

Arch Enemy, pitches 1 and 2. Anchor is where the red circle is. Awesome tunnel/chimney part on pitch 2, but runout/sketchy pro on the first half of pitch 1.

Lower Solar Slab: Johnny Vegas, where pitches 3 and 4 are linked. Upper Solar Slab: First two pitches of Arch Enemy. The second pitch go up behind the giant flake forming the arch.
