After several warm days, the descent of the Bugaboo-Snowpatch couloir became more difficult with the widening of the bergshrund, softening snow on the steep, and thinning snow bridges.

This is a picture of East Face of Snow Patch Spire. In the foreground you can see Applebee Dome Campsite. The thing that looks like cloths hanger is the food stash. There isn’t any threat of bears getting into your food, but there sure are a lot of other critters that will.
