The Naked Edge mostly follows the shadowline up Tower 2 of the Redgarden Wall.

This is a shot taken back in 1976 of the third pitch of Ruper 5.8. This is known as the "Ruper Traverse" which is nice and airy and great for photo opportunities. Mark Holt took this shot one afternoon in November after high school. Those were the days!

The moves out of the chimney are great !!!

I placed this memorial one year after Angus' death at the top of Redgarden Wall after climbing Anthill in October, 2005. The desire to complete this simple act is why I started climbing. The cannister contains some info about him and his accident as well as some paper and pencils. If you feel like it, leave a note or just give your name and the date of your visit. Credit to my friend Thor for the photo!! This is me pulling throught the roof on the first pitch of Genesis. This is one of my favorite pitches in Eldo to date!!! The lie-back just below me is awesome fun moves get you to a stance under the roof where yu can get in a SWEET red Alien. I have to stem really high to reach around the bulge and get my feet over. The face moves frome here are great. Good holds and small feet, bolts for pro and some fun climbing up a flake to finish it off!!!

Whew. . . done! this was a GREAT climb and a pitch I've been wanting to lead for some time. I really wanted my lead on this pitch to be my first time on this pitch! I know that traverses are my *thing* so I knew I had to do it. . I am just so lucky to have had my gang with me . . Tradclimbinfool belaying me telling me just to relax and do it - and Willy up at the anchor telling me to get my a$$ up there !! I love my buds!! Thanks guys . . . . . . Although this may look tricky its easy, but sparsely protected 5.6. Very fun last pitch to an amazing 3 star route.

Rewritten's hand traverse was easier that I thought it would be, There are plenty of edges for the feet. Fun, easy, and exposed climbing. Eric (Squeakyclimber) is the climber.

This arete has some of the best position in the canyon, a *** classic.

On P3 (or P2 if you string the first two together) of Green Slab. Get in a directional at this point or your stoppers will pop with very little effort.

Decked out in white painter's pants and 2" tubular webbing swami belts(no leg loops...the belayer chose the comfort of a belay seat),Gambler leads the 2nd pitch back in 1974!

Wolfgang Gullich on Clever Lever in 1980. I found out later that you could make this move a lot easier by sticking your left toes under a flake up and left of his left hand and levering out for the next hold with your leg. Duh...the "clever lever"! Oh well...we got it anyway.
