I have ben to the mouth so many times and it always works me, I can run laps, but she steals my skin, causes pain, and I find my way back.. storie of my life...luvin it! V0- but fun.. photo bye some random bum that put down his beer to take it, thanks dad!

Karsti on the Lizards Mouth Traverse in Santa Barbara

My wife Karsti chillin' at the Lizards Mouth. Taken at the end of a great day of bouldering at the Brickyard and the Lizards mouth.

This is me climbing at Sunset on Dec 19th. Another wonderful weekend of winter climbing in the golden state!

This is me boulding in the mouth at Lizard's Mouth in Santa Barbara California.

The problem starts out with an easy cieling traverse to the jug which I am holding in the picture. The crux of the problem is the big reach off of that jug, and the match to your big reach once you set your feet. I believe that this problem is a V3, as well as moving out of the cieling to finish vertically by the cave ontop of the formation

The problem starts out as an overhang (At the far side of the mouth), you work your way out of it and keep moving up to a large ledge. The Crux of the problem is getting vertical with the ground.

At this point there is a fun Dyno up above or you can keep going left to finish the traverse.

Really fun area lot's of fun easy boulder probs. Fun prob. "call me" V6 don't have pic but cool none the less.

Adam Sottosanti about to move into position to execute the crux of the move. Starting down low in the cave, a couple reachy moves to where the position Adam is in on the picture. After this a fun dyno just to the left and above of his current position. After this, the climber has endless possibilities to contiue up the mouth or traverse around up high.
