Dave climbed stichter quits on a very windy day this march to record his first ever J-tree lead. He surprised everybody by making it to the top with that damn cowboy hat STILL on.

Hidetaka Suzuki on Sole Fusion

Average Rating = 5.00/5 Hidetaka Suzuki on Sole Fusion

Here's a picture of Hidetaka Suzuki leading Sole Fusion--one of the most "out there" pitches you will ever come across. It is a classic John Bachar sandbag 5.12a and starts on top of Swept Away. So, after the first move, you're already a couple hundred feet off the deck.

Many of the classic climbs at Echo Rock are visible in this photo. It appears that someone is at the top of Stichter Quits, the nice looking dike on the left side.
