Brad lead through an enjoyable roof studded with holds and a fine solid crack to boot. He took my photo as I followed. Nikon digital on 031404.

Here is Brad sizing up the mini roof on Closer's second pitch. I usually exit right @5.8, but Brad decided to crank straight through it. When I got there, following, I decided "forget that, I'm going right" ;)

This is where the fun begins. It is a little tricking getting into the notch, but you do have great gear. Once in the notch you can semi-chimney your way to the belay ledge. Fun, fun! One more pitch to the top. ;)

This is the second pitch of the great route called "Closer". We now go straight up rather than to the left as my gear shows in this photo.

This is one of my personal favorite lines. It follows a wonderfully clean face with great holds and horizontals for gear. You then climb a dihedral to the top.

He is near the crux and half way thru the route.

He is just passing the large oak on the ledge above the trail. The crux is just beginning. Wonderful day.

We had great fun this fall day, Lisa and Jon celebrated by finishing this great route. Tough fingers to face and a day's done.
