Following the Crack

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Following the Crack

I took this picture of Stan -- an Alaskan climber I had just met -- following me on an "easy" crack that just sucked all the energy out of me. Guess I need some crack climbing practice... (fall 1996)

Serenity on Running Man

Average Rating = 3.00/5 Serenity on Running Man

A memorable voyage into the red, black, white and blue colors of the Red Rocks. Running Man is steep and continous, but its beauty puts you into a state of absolute serenity. This picture of me was taken by my friend Anne Berger.

The Great Highway

Average Rating = 3.50/5 The Great Highway

The Great Arch may be an easy route, but it is quite amazing. It feels like a large slanted highway with a crack on the side. This is picture of me was taken in 1996, while I was studing at Duke University. Stone Rock is an amazing place in itself -- a huge rounded rock plopped in the middle of nowhere. But beware of the bolted routes -- they are heavily runout.

Walking like a cat

Average Rating = 0.00/5 Walking like a cat

This is a picture of the very classic Dog Wall in the Red Rocks. Easily accessible from the road, well bolted, and moderate climbing. This picture of me climbing Cat Walk (5.10a) was taken in January 1998.
